One of the few meets I was
able to make was meeting Amy and Stefanie from the themouseforless yahoo group. (Fredrick Douglas)
A little background story for

website, they have a Friday night trivia contest, hosted by Grace and Stefanie. Amy is
usually the person, who when I come in second, she comes in first. She is just a faster typist then me.

It turned out to be a very
popular time to be at Disney and there were lots of people who I chat with
online going to be there at the same time, namely Wendy from UK and Tammy,
formerly of Long Island, now South Carolina. (Fredrick Douglas)
This would be the second time
missing Wendy, as she was also meeting a bunch of people at Downtown Disney on
Sunday. I knew I wasn’t going to be able
to make that. I was hoping to meet Tammy
at Animal Kingdom's Flame Tree BBQ, but we both didn’t make it. (Fredrick

Before I left, Amy sent me a email requesting a NY Yankee ball cap. This was the last pre-trip purchase I needed
to make and bought her a one size fits all from the Yankee Clubhouse store on

Now I had no idea of how I
was going to meet her, but wasn’t going to
Tuesday, Sept 12, I find a
message on my room phone, it was from Amy.
She gives me her room number. It
turns out she is staying with Stephanie in the Pop too. After a couple of phone
tags, I find out she is staying in the 70's wing, and I am in the 60's.

Why the Fredrick Douglas? To
torment Amy… one night that was an answer to a trivia question, who is seen talking while on a river boat in the American
Adventure. I knew the answer, but
couldn’t come up with the name. I kept
remembering the voice from Ken Burns special on the Civil War. Amy new the answer, but was knocked off line
and was having problems logging back in.
She was talking to Stefanie on the phone telling her the answer, but it
didn’t count because it was being done offline.
I finally was able to remember the name and got it right J
