Wednesday, July 22st, Disney day 4

Meeting the scooter company at the resor this morning to change chargers.

After exchanging chargers, we headed to the Magic Kingdom.  I was wearing my Narthans Hot Dog eating contest t-shirt.  The bus driver notices and comments, he met Joey Chestnut who won the contest for years.  He lost this year, just a couple of weeks ago.

We used a Fast Pass for Buzz Lightyear.  I do like this attraction. I can do it multiple times per trip.  I again look for that ceiling high point target, cant find it.  Oh well, they must have moved it.

For a snack credit, I wanted a sweet cream cheese pretzel.  The place in Tomorrowland doesn’t open till 11.  I get a mickey bar instead.  I then use my Fast Pass for Winnie the Pooh.

My mother, before I can stop her, drives over to Philharmagic and parks the scooters outside and goes inside.  Of course this means we are normal people, which is hurting me, because we are standing a long time before entering the theater.  After leaving the theater, we had to look for the scooters as she found a place that wasn’t meant to have scooters parked at.

After that we used the Fast Pass for Be our Guest.

The ordering was a little hard.  But we found a empty table and waited for our food.  Not a long wait we had our food. I liked the sandwich, but my mother didn’t like the fish she ordered.

At this point, my mother is getting antsy about spending so much time at the Magic Kingdom, so we leave and park hop over to Epcot via monorail.

I used DAS return time for Soarin and a Fast Pass for Mission Space.  Then go on Spaceship Earth.  As anyone who knows me and my Disney World trips, they always edit out my NY Yankees hat.  This time isn’t any difference, they remove everything but the NY logo on my hat.  I am defeated, I don’t do anything about it.

Leaving Spaceship Earth, it is raining.  We head over to Mission Space.  After Mission Space, we use the Fast Pass for Soarin.

After Soarin, I did some window shopping at Mousegears before leaving for the Animal Kingdom Lodge to eat at Boma.

When I checked in, I said I always am seated in the back of the restaurant, I don’t want that.  They noted it on my ressie.  So when they called me a couple of minutes later, guess where they sat me.  After stating to the server this is not good, she said hold on.  A couple of minutes later I was sat behind the food with my mother.

Interesting to note.  The table next to use was a table top for 4, but that sat a woman alone there.  She had a walker with her.  But she didn’t use it to go up to the buffet.  I guess she needed a prop to be seated in the front.

After eating, we headed back to Epcot and went into the handicap seating area where my brother, sister in law, niece and her son watched Illuminations with us.

Here is the Ustream video I broadcasted that night.

We waited around the area till most of the crowds left before we both went back to our resorts.  They went to the Yacht Club just outside Epcot, we headed to the bus for Art of Animation.

I got back to the hotel around 10:30, changed into a bathing suit and took a dip in the pool before it closed at 11.
