Day six

Finally wearing my Hello my name is Bruce from Finding Nemo.

Heading to Animal Kingdom, sort of fits. Another cloudy rainy day it looks like. (no photo)

First up… breakfast in the club lounge.

Notice I am always drinking Apple Juice with my meals? I usually drink Orange Juice. Here in the lounge, they just have large containers to pour some Orange juice into a glass. I do not like pulp in my OJ. So I play it safe and get Apple juice.

It is sunny here in Dak. Maybe wearing a leather hat not the best idea.

Of course I set off the metal detector, trying to enter the parks. What I didn’t figure out till now, is they take your photo of you failing it. Then they do a bag check in that order.

Once I enter the park, I open up My Disney Experience and choose a return time for Kilmanjaro Safari. I head to and do Its Tough to be a Bug.

I had a early lunch at Flame Tree. Its been a while since I last ate here. This was usually my first meal I have on property. The last couple of visits, I was on the deluxe dining plan, so a quick service meal isn’t the best use of a meal credit.

Then I go on and ride Kilmanjaro Safari.

After riding safari, I scanned what else to do on the app. I really don't want to get wet, kali is out, no thrill rides, everest and dinosaur are out, not sure what do. I have 50 minute wait for Navi.

I scoot around Pandora to eat up time, stop to have some ice cream.

The birds here in Pandora look just like the ones we have here on Earth… interesting.

Went on Navi,

I scooted more around the park. I then headed to Animal Kingdom lodge. I made it to the lodge before it started to rain very hard. It almost stopped now.

I wait for Boma to open, get called pretty quick. Of course, seated all the way in the back. I just take it. I get my favorites like kool slaw, some sliced pork and beef meats, a rib or two.

I talk to my server about what I don’t see, it was like mashed sweet potatoes, names the dish, she goes yes, so post pandemic openings, still working on to bring back all their favorites. But they do have Zebra Domes.

After Boma, I head to Epcot. I find the area reserved for handicap and wait for the fireworks.

Near me is a couple from my section of Brooklyn, they know my neighborhood very well.

I set to leave Epcot after the fireworks. I catch my single image for Spaceship Earth.

Back at my resort, had some more lounge noshes.

I am still up around 1:30 am I see they are testing fireworks over by the castle, I go live hoping to catch it, but all you see are the smoke after effects.
